Peggy Aviles

joined the Maui Job Corps Center team nearly 10 years ago, originally as the education secretary and now as the work-based learning specialist. She also brings experience in the hospitality industry, working at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa for seven years, and over 20 years in customer service. In her free time, Peggy is part of a motorcycle club, team captain at Valley Isle Bowling Club and a member of Ahahui Ka’ahumanu Chapter IV. She enjoys riding her motorcycle, bowling, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Before joining Maui Job Corps Center as Culinary Arts instructor, Larry Tuzon graduated from the Maui Community College Culinary Arts program and worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. His hospitality experience spans several resorts, hotels and restaurants in the Maui area, and he also has experience as an educator at local high schools and community colleges. Larry enjoys incorporating his love for cooking and passion for teaching into his daily work, helping students gain real-life skills and build a strong foundation for their futures.

has held several positions throughout her career at Maui Job Corps Center. From a midnight residence assistant to a career preparation period instructor and now education services secretary, she has loved each role she has filled. Brailey enjoys working at a place that feels like ’ohana (family), and she is passionate about watching students achieve their goals, grow personally and excel in the program.

Dyan Hashizaki - Academics and Life Skills - Maui Job Corps Center

Dyan Hashizaki

joined the Maui Job Corps Center team in 2022 as an educational services secretary and later filled the roles of an outreach admissions specialist and educational services manager, transferred to Inland Empire Job Corps Center as program director, and then returned to Maui Job Corps Center as the education services manager. She loves helping students develop training plans and goals for a successful future career. When she isn’t working, Dyan enjoys playing pickleball, hiking, traveling with her daughters and hanging out with her dogs.

Nickling St. Fleur-Rrustemaj - Office Administration - PIVOT Job Corps Center

Nickling St. Fleur-Rrustemaj

joined PIVOT Satellite Job Corps Center as the Office Administration instructor in 2018. Prior to this, she worked as an adjunct professor at American River College in Sacramento, Calif., an instructional aide and a library supervisor at Portland Adventist Academy. Nickling holds a bachelor’s degree in fashion design and a master’s degree in communications, and she enjoys using all this experience and knowledge as a Job Corps instructor.
