James is a U.S. Navy veteran and has been a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America for 20 years. He holds certifications in OSHA, scaffolding, aerial scissor lift, UBC journeyman, blueprint reading, solid surface, and first aid and CPR.

He is a dedicated instructor and professional who advocates for his students and ensures they are prepared to enter the workforce and be successful.
