has taught with Job Corps for nearly 20 years. He is an Air Force Veteran and has been working in mechanics for over 40 years. Gary is ASE certified and dedicated to student success.  

has taught Office Administration at Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center for nearly 30 years. She is trained to assist students in completing Internet Core Competency (IC3) digital certifications and Microsoft program certifications. Graduates of Office Administration work in the industry and pursue other goals through the center’s college program.

is a Pharmacy Technician instructor at Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center. She obtained her pharmacy technician license through CVS and is trained to certify students in aseptic handling (procedures to prevent contamination) and HIPAA compliance. Katie also assists students in earning a pharmacy technician license through the American Society of Health System Pharmacists. 

has over 10 years of experience in the medical field prior to teaching at Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center. She has taught Medical Administrative Assistant courses for over a decade and is trained to certify students in basic life support and assist students in obtaining a nationally recognized medical assistant certificate through the National Health Care Association.

began her teaching career in Chicago, Ill., after earning a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, and master’s and doctoral degrees in education. She currently works at Los Angeles Job Corps Center as the Office Fundamentals instructor. Latrice loves all aspects of teaching and learning, and wants the very best for all her students.

is an Office Administrator instructor at Los Angeles Job Corps Center. He has taught information technology, mathematics and management courses at various colleges for over 20 years and has a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and a master’s degree in management information systems. Kavoos is trilingual, speaking Hebrew and Farsi, and enjoys the diversity of Job Corps.

has been an educator since 1986. While enrolled as a student in high school, Kwok began an entry-level training position working in computer technology. His career has always revolved around computers, from teaching computer classes to working as a financial analyst, to computer repair and networking. Kwok started working part time for Los Angeles Job Corps as a computer technician in 2014 and is currently an Office Administration instructor.

is the Senior Office Administration instructor at Los Angeles Job Corps Center. Throughout her teaching career, she has focused on teaching math, special education and software applications to students of all ages, and she holds her MBA. Marnisha enjoys teaching because she can touch the lives of many by sharing information that students will use for a lifetime. 

is a full-time Clinical Medical Assistant instructor at Los Angeles Job Corps Center. He has taught in postsecondary schools since 2010 and worked in the health care field since 2005. Jesus earned clinical medical assistant and phlebotomy teaching credentials and an associate degree in general studies. Jesus’ experience working with a diverse patient population has prepared him for the classroom at Job Corps. He is enthusiastic about sharing his training, knowledge and skills with the next generation who will serve their communities in the health care field.

is a Math instructor with Hawaii Job Corps. She is the most tenured academic instructor on campus and provides excellent math TABE instruction to her students. Donna enjoys being a mentor and a voice of reason for the young men and women in the program.
