Arnold Inagaki

is a lifelong member of the Painters’ Union. He progressed in his career by completing the union apprenticeship program, and now, he is able to impart this knowledge on his students as a full-time Painting instructor at Hawaii Job Corps Center. 

Bob Tom - Culinary Arts - Hawaii Job Corps Center

Bob Tom

is a Culinary Arts instructor with Hawaii Job Corps. Prior to joining the program he was the catering sales manager at Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, previously known as Hawaiian Regent Hotel, and he has a bachelor’s degree in business. When he isn’t working, Bob enjoys fishing on his kayak.

James Poinatale - Manufacturing Technology - Hartford Job Corps Center

James Poinatale

has been a full-time Manufacturing instructor at Hartford Job Corps Center since 2017. He has extensive knowledge from working at Pratt & Whitney for more than 45 years and from serving as a combat engineer in the Army. After seven years of retirement, James decided to go into teaching, where he can use his skills and years of knowledge to shape the future generations of machinists and engineers.

Nicole Champagnie - Clinical Medical Assistant - Hartford Job Corps Center

Nicole Champagnie

is a full-time Clinical Medical Assistant instructor at Hartford Job Corps Center. Her educational background is in health care management, and her specialties include EKG, phlebotomy and medical assistance with clinical education. Her roles in these fields have provided her with experience and insight to help her teach in a classroom setting. Teaching is Nicole’s passion, and she enjoys seeing her students grow both personally and professionally.

Kaitlin Levy - Career Journey - Hartford Job Corps Center

Kaitlin Levy

began her time at Hartford Job Corps Center as a CTT substitute instructor and is now a Career Transition Readiness instructor. Her educational background is in psychology and criminology, and she has extensive experience working with Hartford-area youth. Kaitlin is currently a full-time student at Central Connecticut State University working toward her bachelor’s degree in criminology. She enjoys building meaningful relationships with her students and providing them with the tools they need to be successful in life after graduation.
